Sat at my slanted desk,
Beneth the building's
electricity attracting metal
rod, rusting, bends, breaking-
The city's polluted sky.
The poisons & factory gasses
Create colors brighter than any sunset
I have ever seen.
Sometimes the moon shines behind,
The hazy clouds,
& it's dark is day.
It's deep blue light
pouring perfectly through the pane
of my office window.
I sketch blackprints missing half a roof
with broken steps.
Once again, I'm an architect & I -
Shatter skylines.
